After a test drive and agreeing to buy a car with Dan on collection there was an issue with engine management. Dan guaranteed me that he would have the car sorted and loaned me a car In the meantime . he didn’t have to do he also went through the car with a fine tooth comb and rectified things that I failed to even noticed I cannot fault his service. He even deliver the car to me as well which he didn’t have to do, would certainly recommend buying a car from him.

Bought a Toyota Aygo for my grandaughter 6 months ago.It was 9 ears old and came with six month warranty at a fair price. It was immaculate and well presented.We had full service history and all necessary paper work.Daniel was efficient ,polite and knowledgeable .A pleasure to deal with. I have waited until now to write this review as so many problems in older cars occur after a few weeks .I am glad to say the Toyota has been completely trouble free so far. I would reccommend DPA without hesitation anoutstanding small garage that cares about customers and their own reputation. I would certainly use them again.

One of the most pleasant and easy purchases I have ever made.No pushy sales just honest information and a realistic approach to sorting any issues. Nothing is too much trouble and the car was perfectly presented and exceeded my expectations. The fact that they are thoroughly nice blokes is an added bonus. This review is kind of “better late than never”, as I bought the car over three months ago. However, that enables me to tell you that in the three and a bit months I’ve owned the Merc the only fault has been a blown sidelight bulb. That puts this car up there amongst the best second hand cars I have ever bought, and certainly the best of the last six or so by some distance. The whole buying experience with Daniel was very straightforward from start to finish. Having missed another similar Merc they were selling earlier in the year, I had left word with DPA Motors about what I was looking for. Daniel called me to say he had got one coming in that he thought might tick the boxes for me, and so it proved. Daniel agreed not only to service and MOT the car, he also refurbished the alloys and replaced the front discs and pads. Because of this I didn’t feel the need to try to chip him on the price. The car is lovely, such a nice comfy thing to drive, with bags of performance when you want it. Not as much fun as my BMW Z4 but then it’s a different animal. I would unreservedly recommend DPA Motors, especially if you’re looking for a used Mercedes Benz, as they know them inside out and run them as their personal transport. Bought my first car in July 2020 from DPA Motors, great service, great company to deal with honest and trust worthy. Bought my 2nd car recently from them a nice SLK which I’m using as my Sunday car, its mint and I love it. Would use again next time I’m on the look out for another car.

I found Daniel to be very helpful and honest in my purchase of a Vauxhall Astra. He change 2 tyres and the discs and pads on this car along with a new MOT certificate, all within the agreed price. He went even further than this by putting my personal number plates on retention at his own cost. I found his approach to customer service a very refreshing change from the usual one from main dealers and I am very happy with the car. 5 star service and excellent value.

I’ve just come away with a Suzuki SX4 and I couldn’t be more pleased with my customer experience. Viewing, test driving and preparing the car after the sale was all done with a minimum of fuss and with no unnecessary ‘hard-selling’, as the quality of the car spoke for itself. Urgently needed a car, DPA had a Green Ka, I rang and DPA answered, i asked him the quaetion of whether the car was still available and after it was confirmed it was i went and purchased the car, the owner was really genuine and i found he cared very much about the aftercare of his customers, he was really understanding of my situation and rushed it through, on top of this i got a 3 month Blue Chip Warranty as standard and was told to bring the car back in a couple of days when i can as the water bottle needed replacing, during the week i noticed a few minor issues which the owner was very helpful in sorting out, overall my experience from start to finish was seemless, The Owner and his Dad are great chaps and i would happiliy use them again for any future purchases, I would also recommend any body from Ilkeston or afar to certainly check out his stock as he always, IMO, has excellent value cars at bargain prices! After owing my old car for the last thirteen years I decided to buy a new one, and I found it at DPA MOTORS. The first thing that struck me was no sales pressure, looked around the car and we went for a test drive, the deal was done. placed a deposit and a week later I picked the car up, (on a Sunday, out of hours), honest and trustworthy.

Over my driving life i have owned many cars from many types of garages. I can honestly say that at Dpa Motors they have given me the best service ever.A couple of little problems with the car when driven showed over the first week but they paid full attention to what was required without any fuss. 10 out of 10 to them and a definite repeat customer for future purchases.

Had to travel a fair distance and he agreed to a viewing after hours to suit us. Car was as described – no hard sell; great service. CAR PURCHASED. Simple and no hassle deal. Honest people, honest cars, as the web ad states, true statement, as this is my second car, and would definitely go again.

Not only did I get a great motor, Daniel made the experience easy, smooth and a pleasure. Paperwork was straight forward and quick and the condition I picked up my new mini in was excellent. He gave me great advice for looking after my car and where the best places to shop for accessories were. I also got a free air tyre pump. After I’d had the car for a month I had a couple of issues with the car, Daniel took my car and fixed it the same day. Its nice to know that you can buy with confidence!
